Creating an Effective Pitch

2 - 4 p.m.

Do you have a business you want to pitch? Whether you are closing a sale, meeting someone new at a networking event, or trying to convince a funding source to invest in your business, entrepreneurs are pitching their business on a regular basis. Creating a successful pitch enables small business owners to deliver a well-designed, targeted pitch to a specific audience. Knowing what key points to cover and how much to say are integral parts of pitching well. Attendees will learn these key points and walk out with a newly crafted business pitch.

Our special guest is Janice Riley, Director of Technical Innovation Center (TIC) at Hagerstown Community College, who will share her expertise and insights about what it takes to make an effective pitch.

Who should attend? Small business owners who want to learn how to effective pitch their business in order to compete with confidence in both the public and private sectors.
